Conference ISEV 2023 in Seattle

On May 17-21, 2023, an international conference on extracellular vesicles - International Society for Extracellular Vesicles Annual Meeting (https://www.isev.org/isev2023) took place. The conference was held at the Seattle Convention Center (Seattle, Washington). It is a prestigious conference covering all issues related to extracellular vesicles (EVs), their characteristics and analysis, and bringing together the best specialists in this field.

At the conference, ZFM academic Dr. Magdalena Marzec presented the results of the research in the form of a poster entitled "The first and direct lipid profile analysis of extracellular vesicles and parental cells under hyper- and normoglycemic conditions using ToF-SIMS" including the use of Time of Flight - Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry, ToF-SIMS, for the study of the molecular composition of EVs, including compounds belonging to GLYCOSFINGOLIPIDES (GSL).

The attendance in the conference was financed by "Laboratoria Młodych" as part of the "Initiative of Excellence - Research University" program at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. This work was financed by the National Science Center (NCN), OPUS 17 grant for prof. E. Stępień (no. 2019/33/B/NZ3/01004).
